The Andros Boutique Hotel is a gracious Cape Dutch homestead, built in 1908 and designed by Sir Herbert Baker. Restored and updated, carefully preserving its old-world charm, the house is set in large, mature park-like gardens in the heart of Claremont, one of Cape Town’s beautiful Southern suburbs. The Manor house is furnished in an elegant and traditional style, complementing the original features in this beautiful graceful home.

Set in the garden are eight spacious bedrooms, each with its own veranda and view over the lush garden. The Suite has a separate entrance and living area as well as a private swimming pool. The four original bedrooms in the manor house, each individually decorated in a traditional style, have beautiful garden and mountain views. The rooms are furnished with all the luxuries to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Relax at the pool or work out in the well equipped gym and sauna. Our beauty salon, “Bliss” has two treatment rooms with fully qualified beauticians on duty daily where you can spoil yourself with a personalised treatment to suit your needs. The conference room has all the necessary equipment for small intimate conferences and can seat up to 20 delegates comfortably.
Start the morning with a lazy breakfast on the terrace. Unwind after a long day touring, sight-seeing or playing a round of golf, with a good book in the serene sun room or the quiet drawing room. Enjoy some of our freshly prepared cocktails or pre-dinner drinks in the champagne room adjacent to our restaurant, where superb food is served.

Dining is in an intimate 34-seater restaurant that offers a romantic and elegant dining experience. An entrance filled with flickering candles sets the mood while marbled floors and a selection of South African art give the restaurant an understated elegance. The menus from Chef Nicolene Barrow focus on country cuisine with a French influence and change regularly to reflect the seasons. Well-sourced ingredients provide an exciting, sumptuous a la carte menu to suit all tastes and is complimented by an excellent wine list.

The Andros is conveniently situated from all major tourist attractions. Kirstenbosch and the Constantia Winelands are around the corner while the Waterfront and popular beaches are a mere 15 minutes drive. The idyllic setting and excellent service makes The Andros the perfect venue for any occasion.

This is an insurance bond underwritten by Lombard Insurance and certain underwriting syndicates at Lloyd's of London and is administered by SATSA, a section 21 company incorporated not for gain.
