Overview

Pack your safari bags for the world renowned Kruger National Park, and experience the thrill of Big 5 safari game spotting under the watchful eye of your seasoned game ranger and guide. Watch that  picture postcard rainbow curve its way over the Victoria Falls' gigantic, misty clouds of spray and  perhaps get drenched as it dumps its torrents into the lower reaches of the mighty Zambezi River. Cruise on the Zambezi, past wallowing hippo's and crocodiles. This tour is more than just a holiday. Live your dream when you embark on this unforgettable, heartstopping adventure to two of Africa's natural wonders; the Kruger National Park and the Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia.

 


Itinerary for This Tour


Day 1

Arrive at the Johannesburg international Airport, (OR Tambo) in the morning  and check in for your flight to the Mpumalanga-Kruger National Park Airport at Nelspruit. Upon arrival in Nelspruit, you will be met and greeted by a Mmilo Tours" representative and transferred in an air conditioned vehicle to your 4 star lodge inside the world famous Kruger National Park.

Prepare for the excitement of your first sunset Big 5 safari game drive in the home of the greatest diversity of wildlife in Africa. Your lodge is in the game rich southern section of the Kruger, and on your trip there from the airport, have your camera and binoculars ready, because you will  already have seen some species of wildlife, once entering the park, before you reach your destination.
Overnight at 4 Star Lodge. Dinner included.


Day 2

Your morning will begin with a flurry of excitement and activity as you set off for your game drive at the crack of dawn, after your first cup of morning tea or coffee and pre-breakfast snack. You are likely  to see lions in repose or on the hunt, a whole herd of buffalo or elephant grazing, and keeping a watchful eye on predators, rhinos making light work of the grass beneath their feet, the solitary leopard reclining on an anthill, and the even more reclusive cheetah stalking its prey on your game drive safaris. But, of course there are numerous species of buck as well as zebra, giraffe, hippo and other fascinating animals to see, too.

After your game drive, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure, admiring the many images you have shot on your safari game drive. Soon after lunch, you will answer the call of the wild again for your afternoon/sunset game drive.

Day 3

You may rise once again at the crack of dawn for your last game drive.This half day safari with your game ranger, as the sun rises, is a truly unforgetable experience!  If you have allowed your safari experience to just unfold with the rhythm of nature, every game drive will offer you more fascinating insights into this wildlife kingdom. This half day game drive

Overnight as per previous night. Dinner, Lunch ,Bed and Breakfast Included.


Day 4

A pleasant surprise awaits you this morning, after a very early breakfast, before you bid farewell to the lodge.  Engage in a personal interaction with an elephant at this private game reserve, under the watchful eye of the reserve's staff. Get up close and stroke its fascinating trunk. Then, you will be transported to the Nelspruit-Kruger National Park airport for your flight to Johannesburg. where you will stay overnight at an airport Four Star hotel in preparation for your early morning international flight to Livingstone,Vic Falls, Zambia.

Day 5

You will be collected at your hotel in time for your early morning international flight to Livingstone. Upon arrival at Livingstone airport, you willl be met, greeted and transferred to the four star David Livingstone Safari Lodge, your home away from home for the next 2 nights. From here you will have safe, daily access to the Victoria Falls, Mosi-Oa-Tunya. Stand on the Knife Edge Bridge and gaze at the wonderous Eastern Cateract, Main Falls and Boiling Pot, as you listen to the crashing sound of water into the gorge over 100 metres below, and watch clouds of spray flung skywards. Also, experience a magnificent sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, passing hippo's and crocodiles along the way.

Day 6

 After breakfast, you are at leisure, but you may decide to gaze out over the Falls once again and recapture that heady feeling of  experiencing one of the great spectacles of nature. Then, end the day on a high note, as you cruise into the sunset on the Zambezi River.

Overnight as per previous night, Bed and Breakfast Included.


Day 7

Catch a flight back from Livingstone, departing in the early afternoon and arriving back in Johannesburg mid afternon. You will have access to an international lounge at the Johannesburg International Airport, courtesy of Mmilo Tours, to refresh, put up your feet, have a snack and just relax, whilst you await the departure of your flight back home.

Quality Assurance of hotel, lodge, guest house, and other categories of tourist accommodation standards in South Africa are effected and ensured by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa ( TGCSA). Each establishment is assessed at least once a year within its own category. The Star Grading system, with 1 star being the lowest rating accorded and 5 star the highest, operates from the consumer point of view, and incorporates a Consumer Feedback Mechanism.

The SATSA Bonded logo serves to testify to the fact that the bearer, being a SATSA member in good standing, has a financial guarantee in place to cover monetary deposits lodged with the member in advance of services to be rendered.

Should the member become financially insolvent prior to rendering the contracted service, the bond, which has an indemnity limit of R1.5 million, guarantees that deposits will be refunded, or the service replaced, to a maximum level of R300 000 per event or R75 000 per claim against the insolvent member.

This is an insurance bond underwritten by Lombard Insurance and certain underwriting syndicates at Lloyd's of London and is administered by SATSA, a section 21 company incorporated not for gain.
